Earlier in the week we had the ever-bubbly Blue Peter presenter Helen Skelton in the Photolink Studios. She was shooting imagery for Comic Relief, for which she’s an energetic and tireless campaigner to say the least…

Now details of the shoot are sketchy, as the Comic Relief team were keen to keep the cat in the bag, but going on Skelton’s past activities for the charity (and studio manager Julian’s breathless account of the shoot set-up) it should look pretty epic.

Since joining the iconic children’s programme in 2008, Skelton has been doing her best to succeed iconic presenters Lesley Judd, Valerie Singleton and (for younger ones among us…) Peter Duncan as the go to girl for effervescent charm and extreme feats of physicality.

Her inspirational achievements for charity and, let’s be honest, humankind! to date, include being only the second woman ever to finish the 78-mile Namibian ultra marathon, kayaking over 2,000 miles along the Amazon River and walking a 150-metre tightrope between chimneys at Battersea Power Station! Knackered just saying all that…

What a lady! We can’t wait to see what the pictures look like…
