So this is Christmas? And what have we done? Well, it’s probably best to start at the beginning…

WEB WINS
2013 started with the launch of our new all singing all dancing responsively built, content rich and action packed website. Built in house and filled with the best of our work across all creative disciplines, it signaled our ambition to push our expertise and influence further than ever before. You’re here, so it must be working!

The website also served as a catalyst for an incredible year of client wins, award wins and partnerships. Thanks to a dedicated online home that explains, in full, how unique our integrated offer is we now have absolute proof of our credentials running alongside every pitch, proposal, awards entry and partnership. It simply says what we do and how we do it. Two things we’re incredibly proud of. And it seems to be a winning formula.

AWARD WINS
But we’re in the creative marketing industry and we would say that, wouldn’t we? Thankfully, the North West’s media and creative industry authority Prolific North has been championing our agency and work as well, awarding us Retail Campaign of the Year for our work with long standing client Regis Salons and rating us as one of the three leading integrated agencies in Manchester.

This all came hot on the heels of winning the first ever MPA (Manchester Publicity Association) International Award for our continued success with Photolink India, the agency we set up in Mumbai in 2007, so you can imagine how absolutely delighted we are to have been awarded for our regional, national and international efforts this year.

INDUSTRY WINS
It doesn’t stop there either. In November we were selected by UK Trade & Investment to represent the British creative industry overseas as catalogue production and retail brand communications experts. Their words, not ours. But we’re not resting on our laurels, so we’ll continue to build our agency offering around more of the right skills and people next year and beyond to ensure we are still the go-to specialist for consumer brands and retailers.

Our acquisition of the widely-respected and highly expert London-based visual content specialists Hungry Tiger in June was an expression of this ambition and offer a combined range of specialist services that can’t be rivaled throughout the UK. Big talk aside, we are overjoyed to be working with such a talent group of people. Just watch this space for the results.

We also struck up the perfect partnership with the UK’s most colourful server specialists in the business, Melbourne Hosting, who have been helping us expand our digital offer with confidence. They’ve also helped us reduce the downtime of the high-traffic, consumer-facing websites we’ve build for our retail clients (and our in-house ecommerce brand Little Black Dress) to, oooh let’s think, no time!

So to say that this has been an exciting but hectic but ultimately rewarding year is a slight understatement. It’s been EPIC! (say it like the guy on X Factor, and you’ll know how epic). And we can’t wait to do more of the same and better next year! So see you in 2014.
