Earlier this week we sent a crack team over to the Birmingham Hilton Metropole to cover the Regis Salon Managers’ Conference 2012. And we when we say cover, we mean shoot footage, stills and publish exclusive content over the brand’s social media channels on the day to create the biggest possible buzz around the event.
The Conference brought together top tier Regis stylists and colourists from around the country and is an engaging way of informing and inspiring them about the latest developments across the company – creatively and commercially.
The 200 attendees on the day all looked as amazing as you’d expect from a room full of hair stylists, so our photographer/videographer Nathan Walton had no problem finding great shots. These are now all over the Regis UK Facebook page showing Regis staff and the brand’s 8,000+ followers what happened on the day.
Our head of social Rebecca Rae was also on hand to stir up plenty of action on Twitter with the hashtag #RegisUKConference as well as instantaneously uploading video interviews that had been filmed and edited during the breaks by our soundman, videographer and editor Paul ‘Handy Man’ Haycock.
Three pre-recorded videos, all filmed and produced by us, provided the bulk of the visual entertainment; previewing Regis’ new season styles and new in-salon brand imagery (which we produced, shot and artworked), giving pointers on great customer service and unveiling the hotly anticipated new celebrity Face of Regis. (Watch this space for the full reveal of this well-known lady in September!).
An exciting, educational and entertaining day for everyone concerned, we were privileged as ever to be a part of the action and happy help with all the behind the scenes efforts needed to make the conference click; from branded name tags, lanyards and pencils to salon manuals and on-stage branding.
Take a look at our marathon coverage of all the action here.
