About The Role

As Junior Product and Homeware Photographer you will be an integral part of our Photographic Team, responsible for shooting high quality photography at volume across a variety of clients. Working in our Manchester studios, your on-set photography will take client by client briefs, and create strong and consistent imagery from shoot through to processing.



  • To shoot high quality Product, Still Life and Homeware photography at volume for a wide range of clients
  • To consistently produce high quality and on-brand imagery, taking ownership and responsibility for the quality of your output
  • Meet daily and weekly targets while maintaining a high quality of photography
  • Accurately following detailed client briefs and Style Guides to ensure the product is shot consistently
  • To prepare your working set, checking that all equipment is fully functional and correctly maintained
  • Image selection, naming, cropping and processing of all images shot, maintaining file size and any relevant specifications
  • Responsible for own time management and team work with photographer on set to ensure workload is completed to a high standard
  • Busy workload – work at a positive pace to meet individual deadlines, as well as greater needs of the photographic team
  • Communicate any issues to the Line Manager and seek advice and help to resolve them
  • Communicating with the retouch team to increase efficiency and maximum output when needed



  • Experience as a Still life, product and homeware photographer
  • Strong portfolio of still life ecommerce photography, demonstrating the applied techniques in still product photography (composition, lighting, capture, and processing), as well as pre-production and post-production steps
  • Capture one & Photoshop knowledge is essential
  • Good knowledge of common digital capture platforms, various lighting environments, photography equipment and best practices/conventions for set safety
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • A strong team player who is eager to learn and can grasp information quickly
  • Flexible approach to meet business needs
  • Exceptional eye for detail
