About The Role:

In the role of Junior Stylist you will be responsible for styling mannequins, flats, accessories and still life. You will work across a range of accounts and will be expected to meet daily and weekly targets, always maintaining high quality.

You will have to accurately follow detailed client briefs and style guides to ensure product is shot with consistency. You will liaise with a Line Manager, communicating issues and seeking advice to help resolve said issues on a daily basis. In this role, you will be expected to meet a busy workload with positivity and pace, meeting your own deadlines and the needs of the team as a whole.

 

Additional duties and responsibilities: 

 

  • Ensure sets and styling props area are well maintained and tidy throughout the shoot day
  • Be a team player in the prepping process of the products to ensure the shoots will flow in the most efficient way possible – ironing or steaming your own products or help the other teams including interns
  • Careful handling of all stock, including re-tagging and packaging to an acceptable standard
  • Responsible for own time management and team work with photographer on set to ensure workload is complete to a high standard
  • Take an active interest in the studio development, using own initiative to research and create mood boards or additional support when needed
  • Work towards styling fashion shoots
  • Working towards client-facing shoots
  • Establish and maintain close relations with all other Studio Team members
  • Demonstrate and maintain a professional presence in and around the studio

 

You:

  • Experience as a Junior or Intern in a photographic styling team 
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Have and keep a firm understanding of current and upcoming trends and how they relate to our client needs
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Docs.
  • A good understanding of what it takes to maintain and develop a productive studio 
  • Must be comfortable working towards defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) from clients
  • Must be able to quickly understand and work with client and team changes within a studio. 
  • Be a strong team player who is eager to learn and can grasp information quickly
  • Flexible approach to meet business needs
  • Strong listening and questioning skills
