About The Role

In your role as Photographer you will be an integral part of our Photographic Team, responsible for shooting high quality photography at volume across a variety of clients. Working in our Manchester studios, your on-set photography will take client by client briefs, and create strong and consistent imagery from shoot through to processing. You will work under a Senior Photographer and our Photographic Art Director on a daily basis.



  • To shoot high quality still life homeware and interiors lifestyle photography at volume for a wide range of clients.
  • On occasion you will be required to shoot fashion on model photography at volume for a wide range of clients.
  • To consistently produce high quality and on-brand imagery, taking ownership and responsibility for the quality of your output.
  • To provide high quality imagery for online ecommerce, editorial and campaign features.
  • To research current styles and trends within ecommerce photography for development and growth of the team and business.
  • To prepare your working set, checking that all equipment is fully functional and correctly maintained.
  • Image selection, naming, cropping and processing of all images shot, maintaining file size and any relevant specifications.
  • Communicating with the retouch team to increase efficiency and maximum output when needed.
  • To take an active interest in product knowledge & trade information for product photography.
  • Meet daily and weekly targets whilst maintaining the highest quality photography and creative flair.
  • Responsible for own time management and teamwork with members on set to ensure workload is completed to a high standard.
  • Accurately following detailed client briefs and Style Guides to ensure the product is shot consistently.
  • Communicate any issues to the Line Manager and seek advice and help to resolve them.
  • Strong confidence in directing models is required.
  • Take an active interest in brand development for Fashion, Lifestyle and Homeware Still Life.
  • Take ownership of key accounts – working closely with both internal and external teams to ensure a smooth shoot.
  • Busy workload – work at a positive pace to meet individual deadlines, as well as greater needs of the photographic team.
  • Working a Mon-Fri schedule of 9 – 5.30pm, with flexible hours required.


About you:

  • 2 years experience as a Still Life photographer.
  • Strong portfolio of still life including both homeware e-commerce photography and fashion both womenswear, menswear, and kidswear on model.
  • Portfolio that demonstrates the applied techniques of on-figure fashion photography and stills product photography (composition, lighting, capture, and processing), as well as pre-production and post-production steps.
  • Good knowledge of common digital capture platforms, various lighting environments, photography equipment and best practices/conventions for set safety.
  • Capture one knowledge essential.
  • Video capture and editing knowledge is a must.
  • Must be able to demonstrate experience of working directly with our internal Photographic Art Director and clients.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Proven experience of working in a high volume, demanding e-commerce environment.
  • Have and keep a firm understanding of current and upcoming trends and how they relate to our client needs.
  • Ability to work with and develop studio systems and processes.
  • A good understanding of what it takes to maintain and develop a productive studio.
  • Must be comfortable working towards defined Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) from clients.
  • Must be able to quickly understand and work with client and team changes within a studio.
  • Be a strong team player who is eager to learn and can grasp information quickly.
  • A good understanding of what it takes to maintain and develop the most productive client relationships.
  • Flexible approach to meet business needs.
