SEO Executive

Our services include branding, web design, digital marketing, creative, photography, production and video all of which are wrapped with end to end account management and logistics production – put simply we plan, create, deliver and optimise content for our clients.

About the Role

The SEO Executive will work closely within the digital and creative teams. You will be responsible within the agency to plan, manage and create our clients SEO strategy. This is an important role within the team and comes at a time of exciting growth. This role will offer you the chance to make it your own and present opportunities for personal growth for the right candidate. It will involve working with key stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure that your campaigns align with the overall marketing strategy

The successful applicant will be based in our Manchester offices, working a hybrid schedule.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Executing SEO audits, forecasts, strategies and reports for clients and the account management teams
  • Define requirements, tasks, and resources associated to SEO strategy
  • Creating client strategies, identifying key SEO KPIs and monitoring activity for success
  • Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes
  • Conducting keyword research and creating content guidelines for the copy writing team
  • Identifying opportunities for link building and outreach
  • Collect data and reporting on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects, both internally and to clients This should also include monitoring redirects, click rate, bounce rate, and other KPIs
  • Communication to clients, team, and management on strategy/project development, timelines, and results
  • Collaborate with web developers and marketing team
  • Stay up to date with the latest SEO and digital marketing latest trends and best practices

 

We’re looking for an expert who:

  • Is comfortable in managing the SEO activity for large and complex key accounts. Someone who knows all aspects of SEO and can recommend an efficient tailored approach to our clients. 
  • Is excited and enjoys getting involved in all things SEO as well keeping up to date with the latest innovations, methods and trends.
  • Has an eye for detail and has good organisation skills
  • Has the ability to proactively execute strategies for customer acquisition whilst having the agility to react and implement ad-hoc tactical changes.

 

Key Skills and Attributes:

  • 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience of SEO with knowledge of optimising data
  • Be comfortable with all aspects of SEO, Tech SEO, On-Site and Off-site
  • Working knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics
  • Experience with SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz
  • Comfortable with managing multiple clients across a range of channels, countries and campaigns
  • Experience with SEO Reporting
  • Have strong problem solving skills
  • Be a logical and analytical thinker with strong numerical skills
  • Be interested in innovation and keeping up to date with the latest trends

 

Desired but not essential:

 

  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Knowledge of Google Data Studio
  • Knowledge of Google Optimise
  • Implementation of tracking and setting up of conversion goals
  • Any relevant certifications
  • Agency background
