Traffic Manager

Our services include branding, web design, digital marketing, creative, photography, production and video all of which are wrapped with end-to-end account management and logistics production – put simply we plan, create, deliver and optimise content for our clients.


Overview of Role

As Traffic/Scheduling Manager you will play a pivotal role, as this position will encompass all areas of our content planning and visual creation offer. Managing all aspects of workflow and delivery across the whole agency to ensure all work is resourced efficiently, produced on time and profitably. Working closely with our Content Creators and Client Services team you will organise, manage and coordinate all resources and the distribution of work to meet our business needs and those of our clients.

Your key focus will be to develop, change where required, and integrate all of our workflows into one seamless process.

Your role will consist of the following:

  • Review and develop a best practice approach to managing and tracking workflow at seventy7.
  • Manage, track and create visibility of all workflows through the agency at any given time – particularly across our creative, digital and photographic teams.
  • Overseeing all resource planning and traffic management, ensuring that all projects are delivered efficiently, on time and within budget.
  • Ensuring all teams are resourced appropriately and that stakeholder expectations are well managed.
  • Work closely with the Client Services team to scope and quote projects. On photographic projects work closely with the Producer & Art Director to allocate studio space to maximise efficiency.
  • Direct management of Operational Support team and resource, covering image co-ordinator/post production, studio/sample assistant and set building.
  • Developing a tried and trusted network of specialist partners & freelancers required to work alongside & support our internal teams, ensuring we are working with the best talent and negotiating the best rates.
  • Manage all external resource requirements working closely with the wider teams regarding timings, skill sets and budgets.


Key Skills:

  • Experience of managing a workflow within a creative agency and where possible experienced in content production across, creative, digital, photography and video.
  • Exprience of working effectively with creative teams and a proven background in the production and management of a wide range of teams and projects of varied sizes.
  • Exceptionally organised with a passion for driving and optimising resource with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent people & communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels internally and externally.
  • Ability to build strong and effective relationships with internal teams and have a strong commercial mindset to drive and increase efficiency.
  • Excellent reporting skills with the ability to evaluate workflows, capacity, deliverables and service levels.
  • A proactive, flexible & energetic team player who can work calmly under pressure whilst delivering a phenominal attention to detail.
  • Have the ability to manage conflicting opinions and resolve with the company’s best interests in mind, whilst maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Be confident at presenting and running daily stand up meetings, kick off meetings with clear and engaging communication skills.
  • In such a fast paced environment you must be intuitive, able to lead and have the ability to think on your feet.
  • Experience of using relevant Project Management, Traffic, Scheduling systems and an awareness of new technologies and systems within the project management/resource field.
