EASTPAK have collaborated with 77 creatives, designers and artists to make a series of original bags, which were auctioned last week over London Fashion Week to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The UK arm of the project features one-of-a-kind designs by PPQ, Kate Moross and Zakee Shariff. Each designer was handed a blank canvas bag and given free reign to express their creativity. The results are as different as the creatives involved: with artist Jamie Brown creating a matching pair of Just Married bags complete with attaching ball and chain, while poet Laura Dockrill offers a set of paint splattered bags with an in-built MP3 player with her poems on.
Photolink’s Art Director Carly Brook attended the auction house in a Holborn Art Gallery, which was made even more special by the attendance of some teenage cancer sufferers who took to the stage to discuss how they had been helped by the Teenage Cancer Trust.
