The annual Children in Need fundraising extravaganza started bright and early on Friday morning.
A few Photolinkers arrived in fancy dress while others kept their costumes under wraps until they had weighed up the competition.
There was a couple of world-class efforts but after deliberating for much of the morning we have decided against naming the girl who walked around with an inflatable horse wrapped around her! Yup, it’s true!
It wasn’t all about dressing up though as our team baked cakes, held competitions, cooked food, washed cars and played music all in the name of an amazing cause.
A special mention must go to Veronica Banton who cooked all the delicious food, Alison Jackson who came up with numerous fundraising suggestions, Dee Swindlehurst for the “name game” and Simon Bamber for washing 13 cars in the rain in the car park (in his pants).
We have managed to raise a whopping £311.59p so far and with a few cakes yet to be sold we hope to reach at least £320.00 before the close of play.
If you haven’t donated yet there’s still plenty of time. We’ll see you next year when we’ll attempt to topple 2014’s effort.
