The team here at Photolink Creative Group recently designed the new CityStore retail catalogue that features the 2010/2011 Manchester City Football Club collection. Handling the complete process from art direction to player photography and page design, the Photolink team used their vast experience in multichannel football retailing to produce the iconic 84-page piece that coincided with the opening of the club’s new store in Manchester.
Opening in November 2010, the long-awaited new CityStore on Manchester’s Market Street is a massive 420% bigger than the original store – which was situated in the Arndale Centre – and offers Blues fans an entirely new shopping experience on the high street.
Photolink Creative Group worked incredibly closely with the club’s new retail partner Kitbag to design in-store graphics, concepts and point of sale material. The store will be a new home-from-home for fans, giving them the complete Manchester City experience that they enjoy at the Stadium whilst they are in the heart of the city centre.
The new CityStore has already proved to be a great success – and with a wide range of kits, accessories and gifts available Blues fans can support their players in style as they live out their motto and go proudly into battle on the pitch!
