Red Nose Day returned on Friday 13th March and once again we put on our Noses, pulled out all the stops, and did as much fundraising as we possibly could.
The money raised for Red Nose Day is spent by Comic Relief to transform the lives of millions of people, both at home in the UK and across Africa.
Since the last Red Nose Day, Comic Relief has spent £99 million helping over 12 million people – this includes money raised through Red Nose Day, Sport Relief and other fund raising.
So, with this in mind we:
– Made cakes (loads!)
– Took part in face painting
– Dressed up
– Had a company quiz
– Raised over £200 which was enough for one of our directors to put a Manchester United shirt on (he’s a Liverpool fan!)
– Chucked wet objects at three members of our team
– Enjoyed a beautifully prepared meal for 40
And as we approach the afternoon session we’re not quite finished so keep an eye on our Twitter feed for more snaps and fundraising fun!
