We’re chuffed to announce that we’ve been nominated not once but twice for the upcoming SomeComms awards!
The awards recognise the best of use social media in the UK and we’re delighted to announce that we’ve been shortlisted for Best Use of YouTube for our work with Regis Salons and Best Community Engagement for Kitbag.com
Since starting work with Kitbag.com, we’ve seen their online audience grow from 800 to over 35,000 Facebook fans and their Twitter account increase to almost 5,000 followers. In addition to the blog, also managed by Photolink, this social media activity has had tens of thousands of pounds worth of sales attributed to it.
Our video work for Regis Salons has boosted online awareness the brand, seeing their YouTube account accrue over nearly 50,000 views and helping to position Regis Salons as an authority within the hair care industry. By targeting upcoming trends and styles before mainstream adoption, the videos have also helped Regis provide their target audience with dynamic content relevant to their interests, such as the Ombré hair video which has had over 29,000 views to date.
