A trend-led, youth-focused and online-only retail brand, Ego Shoes have the latest styles on lock to target 18-25 year old women who love footwear. Getting their name out there to the right audience was the next step, ensuring there wasn’t a fashion addict around who didn’t think of them as the go-to footwear choice for girls nights out and glamorous ensembles.
The competition for attention in fast fashion is huge, and speaking to this shopper with authenticity is key. With so much of retail seeking the spend from millennial shoppers, Ego have carved out a brand that has more sass and savvy than a dressing room full of Instagram influencers, and our job was to fit into that niche seamlessly. Working across various channels allowed us to target the customer at each stage of the journey, from Instagram to on-page content and all the touch points in-between. With an AOV of £25, however, profitability was a challenge.
Working in collaboration on a digital marketing retainer, allows Ego to grow sales across multiple channels in sync. PPC, SEO, social ads, influencer outreach and affiliates were targeted in harmony. The result? Sales growth that was not only significant, but sustained with SEO traffic rising 26% year on year. PPC delivered growth in traffic by 63% and an increase in revenue of 28%. As we expected for the audience, Paid Social was the star of the campaign with a 112% increase in traffic and 92% increase in sales.
