Description

Sportswear brands don’t come much bigger than New Balance, with over a century of expertise in a range of markets. Their expansive UK arm needed quick solutions to help with shooting a large range of their products with an extremely tight turnaround being critical to the brief.

the challenge

With the needs of their in-house photography team outgrowing their size, they needed to outsource a high-volume amount of their ecommerce products for a seasonal shoot. As well as coming to us with a short deadline, their head office in the US also implemented high technical specifications. Additionally, they required a working partner that was able to offer a high level of post production to manipulate imagery.

the results

Firstly we were able to set up and manage a sample process, where seventy7 would collect and then store highly confidential products for New Balance. We were briefed on the global brand guidelines and executed exceptional photography to these very specific requirements, incorporating photographic and post-production techniques in order for them to meet standards. Where samples needed to be manipulated, our high level of post-production expertise meant we were able to action these amends in-house.

Further to the photographic requirements, we worked closely with the US brand team to ensure that our workflow seamlessly integrated with the global NB processes alongside their third-party systems. This meant that we could adapt to their internal processes, delivering images with speed.

This project has meant that we’ve been able to develop our partnership with New Balance through the internal recommendations we were given off the back of the initial brief. We now work with a number of their departments, and the relationship is going from strength to strength.
